The short version. MaestroAI listens to audio you upload and tells you how it was probably made — which drum machines, which synthesizers, which techniques. We give you the findings, not the recording. Your upload is deleted after the analysis. We never produce an isolated vocal for you. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and the report we hand back is yours to use, including commercially.
MaestroAI ("we", "us") is a web service operated by Depeche Studios Desenvolvimento de Software Sob Encomenda Ltda. (CNPJ 67.931.412/0001-16), Rua Visconde do Rio Branco 1488, Conj. 909, Centro, Curitiba – PR, 80420-210, Brazil. You upload an audio file; we analyse it and return a report identifying the equipment, sound-design methods and production characteristics we detect, with our confidence in each finding.
By creating an account or uploading a file you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
You keep every right you already had in what you upload. We claim no ownership of your files.
When you upload a file, you represent that you own it, that you are licensed to use it, or that your use of it here is otherwise permitted — for example, private study of a recording you legitimately possess. You further agree that:
You grant us only the limited licence needed to run the service you asked for: to store the file transiently, process it, and generate your report.
If you create a public link to a report, anyone holding that link can view it. You can revoke the link at any time from the analysis screen, which takes it offline immediately.
Where the analysis separates the track into layers, we make the drums, bass and other-instrument layers of the analysed window available to you for a limited time (currently seven days), for the purpose of studying the arrangement. They are deleted after that and cannot be regenerated, because the source audio is gone.
We never export an isolated vocal. The service analyses the vocal layer in memory — to report pitch correction, register and vocal treatment — but that audio is never written to storage and never made available for download, by you or by anyone else. This is a deliberate design decision, not a temporary limitation.
Stems we do provide are supplied for personal study. You may not publish, distribute, sell, or release them, or any work incorporating them, unless you hold the rights in the underlying recording.
The report is our analysis of the recording — an original work of ours, produced by our models and methods. Findings such as "this track uses a Roland TR-909 and a Juno-106 at 124 BPM" are statements of fact about a recording, and facts, musical styles, timbres and production techniques are not owned by anyone.
We therefore grant you a perpetual, worldwide licence to use the reports generated from your analyses for any purpose, including commercially — in your own productions, in your teaching, in your client work. We ask only that you do not resell reports as a standalone product or present our output as an independent expert opinion or a certification.
We respect the rights of authors, performers and phonogram producers, and we act on valid complaints.
If you believe material accessible through MaestroAI infringes your rights, contact our designated agent:
Please include: identification of the work; identification of the material complained of, including the link; your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised; a statement that the information is accurate; and your signature (electronic is acceptable) as the rights holder or their agent.
Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid complaints are suspended and then terminated. Unused credits on a terminated account are not refunded.
You may not:
MaestroAI produces estimates. Identifications are probabilistic and are presented with a confidence figure; our accuracy differs substantially by category, and a confident answer can still be wrong. Many instruments deliberately imitate one another, and some are not distinguishable from a recording alone.
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Do not rely on a report as evidence in a legal, forensic or contractual dispute — it is a production-research tool, not an expert determination.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.
You agree to indemnify us against claims brought by third parties arising from material you uploaded or from your use of any output in breach of these Terms.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights that apply to you.
We may change these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the product before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time, which deletes your analyses and any stored stems.
The service is in beta: features may change or be withdrawn, and availability is not guaranteed.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of the Judicial District of Curitiba, State of Paraná, Brazil have jurisdiction, save for any mandatory consumer forum available to you.
